December 2011 - the first of the Royal Institute Christmas Lectures has just been screened - at 20.00 on BBC4!

Now take a guess as to the subject.  MEET YOUR BRAIN

The RI Christmas lectures used to occupy 'prime time' for children.  Don't tell me there's no dumbing down.  Useless current western society.  No moral values what-so-ever!

And to emphasise the point.  What has the BBC done?  Timed the screening of the new 'Earthflight' to clash with the last of the RI lectures - no dumbing down?!
