Homosexuality
What does it have to offer?
of it's self - Nothing!
In earlier years, when I was a 'paid-up' christian, I looked to Leviticus to explain why I thought being queer was wrong. Subsequently, now being an atheist, I turn towards Darwin and common sense.
As far as I'm aware (and I've read the book), nowhere in "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life" by Charles Darwin does the author talk about homosexuality. Of course not. Such things were not talked about in 1859.
However, the title of the book says it all. Now add common sense ('common sense' - something this society lacks due to some strange & stupid thing by the name of 'polictical correctness').
Why have I produced this page? It is not because I'm a queer basher. I'm not! I genuinely feel sorry for most (but not one in particular) queers. In most cases they didn't choose their sexual orientation - although I believe that some do.
What is my concern? My concern is western society's acceptance of queer-ness. I don't know what the answer is, but I'm sure current thinking is wrong! Whilst queers have a 'right' to exist, why does 'queer-ness' have the right to such a loud voice? Gay Pride - what a load of perverted nonsense! Why should 'gay'-ness be allowed to be so prominent?
I would urge everyone to look at earlier 'civilisations' (and I would caution you to reflect on what we call 'civilisation'). Roman, Greek, Babylonian and even Egyptian (possibly) - they all tolerated homosexuality and ultimately, they all failed. Such, I fear, is the future of our current society. The 'west' is doomed because western society lacks morals!
I cannot help thinking that Judaism and Islam have the upper hand on this subject. At least they have the strength of their belief to declare such practices wrong!
So. To explain the existence of this page…
My ex-wife - an Oxygen thief of note. Having used me to father three children and provide a 5 bedroom house, she decided (in her early forties) that she was a lesbian and divorced me. She didn't have the guts to use her sexuality for the cause of the divorce. No! I was branded as the 'Beast of Addlestone' - an alcoholic, drug using, wife abuser! Knowing there was no chance of reconciliation, my legal advisor told me to swallow my pride and 'let things take their course'; So the divorce court granted her a divorce (but the judge had enough sense to see the 'picture' and I was only awarded to pay £1 a year in maintenance).
To this day, as far as I'm aware, she lives with her lesbion partner. But guess what? Society, in its wisdom, backed her position. Not one of my so called friends doubted her word. (I've never recovered from that.)
And now, if you're still reading this page, I'll tell you why I use the word 'queer' to describe homosexuals. I am a proud owner of an 1983 New Edition of Chambers 20th Century Dictionary. Let me tell you of the adjectives for the entry of 'queer'.
queer kwër, adj. odd, singular, quaint: open to suspicion: counterfeit: slightly mad: having a sensation of coming sickness: sick, ill
I rest my case.
